A volunteer club operating 8, 5 and 1 km classical cross country ski trails. Memberships and day passes are available at the Rexall Pharmacy at the mall in Azilda at the cost of: Family $50.00, Single $35.00, Day pass $5.00. Capreol Cross Country Ski Club

The Capreol Cross Country Ski Club is a social activity for the young and old. Ski trails are available offering ski opportunities to all age groups and levels from beginner to intermediate. Trails are extremely scenic for cross country skiing, hiking, running, mountain biking or walking. Moonlight skiing once a month, on the full moon with a follow-up of pizza and entertainment. All trails are double-track set and have description signs of the various sites. Approximately 23 kms of ski trails are available, with bird feeders on some trails and over 20,000 seedlings planted to beautify the setting. Toboggan hill is located next to the clubhouse. Two Trail Systems. This cross-country ski club maintains trails at Windy Lake Provincial Park and in Dowling. Trails are designed for every level of skiing from basic to advanced. Access to washrooms, concession, and ski equipment rentals are available at the Windy Lake Chalet only.  Read more...

Walden Cross Country Fitness Club

Walden Cross Country Fitness Club is a non-profit organization aimed at developing and promoting cross country ski and biathlon programs for children and youth. The Club maintains lighted ski trails in Naughton and day use trails in Beaver Lake. Equipment rentals, day and season passes are available. Off-season, the trails are enjoyed by hikers and mountain-biking enthusiasts. Read more...
